The annual Karmiel Dance Festival, usually held in July/August over 3 days, is one of Israel’s most popular festivals, with some 250,000 visitors attending around 100 performances!
This year (2019) the festival takes place on July 2-4. The action takes place in and around Karmiel, a city located between Akko and Safed on Road 85, and not a typical stopover on the tourist trail, it has to be said.
Expect to see a variety of dance performances to knock your socks off, with some FREE to attend, and some requiring an entrance fee. The shows will go on NON-STOP for 3 days and nights, with some 100 performances and events danced by some 10,000 local and international dancers.
