The annual Karmiel Dance Festival, usually held in August over 3 days, is one of Israel’s most popular festivals, with some 250,000 visitors attending around 100 performances!
This year (2017) the festival takes place on August 8-10. The action takes place in and around Karmiel, a city located between Akko and Safed on Road 85, and not a typical stopover on the tourist trail, it has to be said.
Expect to see a variety of dance performances to knock your socks off, with some FREE to attend, and some requiring an entrance fee. The shows will go on NON-STOP for 3 days and nights, with some 100 performances and events danced by some 10,000 local and international dancers.
This year you can also expect to see one of Israel’s most popular singers, Eyal Golan, as well as the rather magical Image Black Lights Theater from Prague.
