Foccacia, Jerusalem

focaccia barLocated just off central Jerusalem’s Ben Yehuda promenade, in a typical Jerusalem courtyard, Foccacia Bar has a menu that should keep anybody happy, including meats, pastas, salads, seafood, desserts and, of course, foccacias. On the two occasions we’ve been there, the Thai noodles went down very well, while the kids seemed very content with pizzas.

The place itself has a good atmosphere, seems popular whatever time you visit. The foccacia are baked in the ovens in front of the restaurant`s guests. This’ll keep the kids entertained (and yes, the place is kid friendly, until they finally bring your waitress to her knees…) and is something you really should try. The various fillings for the foccacia include grilled peppers in a balsamic vinegar, grilled eggplant, black olives, grilled peppers and mozzarella cheese and more.
