Yom HaZikaron is Israel’s Day of Remembrance, when the nation remembers its fallen.
All places of entertainment are shut for approximately 24 hours, so make sure you’re aware! The day is followed by Independence Day, a crazy 24 hours of parties, BBQs and good times – quite the contrast to the previous 24 hours but this is what makes Israel special!
