The 16th Tamar Festival will take place at the lowest point on earth – the Dead Sea – from September 28 through October 2, 2015.
The festival takes place under the desert skies with the performances situated on stages with the Judean Desert Mountains as their backdrop. There are a number of FREE concerts to enjoy, although most of the bigger names will set you back a few shekels (though under 5s are free).
The event is spread over five days, at various locations and at different times during the day, featuring a wide range of music from Israeli artists. Watch out for the sunrise concerts at Masada, well worth catching!
Expect to see Israeli stars such as Idan Raichel, Balkan Beat Box, theAngelcy, Asaf Avidan, and Muki, among many others!
