Sovev Tel Aviv bike rideThe 5th annual Sovev Tel Aviv (Around Tel Aviv) cycling event is one for you cyclists!

Starting with three days of cycling fun at the Cycling Festival at Kikar Rabin (devoted to healthy living, an active lifestyle and green transportation), the last day is devoted to a ride round Tel Aviv!

The final day races are open to all cyclists, but there are various levels and groups: there’s an early start at 07:00 for the 42km ride (twice around the city) for experienced cyclists, while at 07:50 the 25km skater / rollerblader race starts, at 08:00 the 22km race for families kicks off, and at 09:00 the 7.5km race starts, which is open to all.

The races should end at about 13:00. Individual riders will need to pay 75 shekels, families 190 shekels.

The routes go along the Tel Aviv promenade and the longer routes include the Ayalon Highway which will be temporarily closed for the event. All routes start at Rokach Blvd next to the Israel Trade Fairs & Convention Center (Exhibition Grounds) and end at Rabin Square on Ibn Gvirol Street.

The event is during the Sukkot vacation (Feast of Booths) and more than 30,000 cyclists are expected to participate. If you need to register, see the link below.
