British Jazz group Kairos 4Tet, will be playing one night at the Zappa Club in Tel Aviv.
The international quartet led by saxophonist and composer Adam Waldmann has quickly become one of the most successful bands of the British jazz scene over the last few years. As part of the show in Israel, the band will be augmented by Dutch singer Fridolijn van Poll and Local wonder-kid drummer Ofri Nehemya.
Leader and saxophonist Adam Waldman has recorded collaborations with Alicia Keys, Mark Ronson, Mark Giuliana, Jim Hart and others.
Their recent album, Everything We Hold, hosts a series of guest singers and texts written by film director and actor Rupert Friend (Pride and Prejudice, “Homeland”, etc.) who also directed the video clip for “Song for the Open Road,” which guests R & B songster Omar .
The album topped many of last year’s “Jazz Album of the Year” lists in Jazz and Music periodicals and national press in the UK.
The band are known to especially thrilling “live” featuring interplay between band members.
