The world-famous Flamenco dancer Jose Porcel is in town for four nights of amazing flamenco!
He brings his show “Dream” to the Suzanne Dellal Center at the end of September, with an additional show at the Haifa Auditorium.
Porcel will also feature eight dancers and six musicians from his troupe, as well as guest Silvia Duran, Israel’s leading flamenco dancer.
Even though Porcel has an innovative, contemporary style of choreography, he is renowned for his purist style. In each program he also typically includes a brief history of flamenco, which was created and nurtured by southern Spain gypsies in the 18th century.
