The 19th International Harp Contest in Israel will open on November 22, 2015.
This year the contest will be hosted in the magnificent Knights’ Halls in Old Acre, a city declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. A Gala Festive Concert will open the contest on 22nd November, with harpist Anais Gaudemard, who won the contest in 2012.
The International Harp Contest in Israel is the first competition in the world to be held for the harp and has been held every three years since it was first founded in 1959.
