The Jewish answer to Christmas, with Santa finding an oily but tasty replacement in – DONUTS (or sufganyot as they’re known in Hebrew). Candles are lit nightly for 8 days (the holiday is also known as the Festival of Lights) and there are often plenty of cool events in town, though mostly for kids.
