The third Gran Fondo Israel is being held at the Dead Sea in March!
The Gran Fondo (Italian for “the big race”) is a challenging one day cycling event taking place at the lowest point on earth. The ideal weather conditions of Israel’s mild winter and the spectacular desert scenery will maximize the experience of road riding in this unique area.
Expect an international crowd of cyclists!
The course will be a round tour with a total distance of 155KM and 1752 meters in elevation – a ride across the wild desert via Ma’ale Akrabim (Scorpions Pass) ending at HaTrorim junction. The traditional finishing event will take place at the Ein Bokek – Dead Sea complex.
