US folk-rockers CocoRosie are heading to Israel for TWO concerts!
CocoRosie were originally formed in Paris in 2003 by two sisters (Bianca “Coco” and Sierra “Rosie” Casady) who had not met for many years. They eventually ended up producing some ‘freak folk’, which can basically be described as a hotch-potch of unique and crazy sounds, with just a hint of dark and gothic infused in there too.
They are active tourers and have released five albums to date.
The concert on the 13th July takes place at the Gesher Theater in Yafo (tickets cost 159 shekels, call *9066).
The second concert takes place on 14th July, at the Barby Club (tickets cost 179 shekels, call 03-5188123 for details).
