The amazing City Slide (or Glitch as it’s known in Hebrew) is coming to Israel!
UPDATE: The Glitch is also coming to Kfar Saba on 13th August!
Otherwise known as the world’s longest water slide, the city of Petah Tikva (just outside Tel Aviv) is your destination! Derekh Rabin is the street chosen, thanks to its soft decline.
Petah Tikva mayor Itzik Breverman announced the event on his Facebook page a couple of days ago and it’s already gaining some amazing feedback…though we’re still trying to work out how the heck Petah Tikva will rank among other global City Slide events (such as those in San Francisco or Salt Lake City)…
The event costs 10 shekels only for Petah Tikva residents – if you’re from out of town, it will cost you 40 shekels. Definitely geared more towards the yoof of today, as it one of the events that kicks off their summer holidays. So expect lots of noisy teenagers!
