With the Tel Aviv Fashion Week coming in November, perhaps the perfect way to get yourself armed and ready is with a visit to the Holon Fashion Week!
Scheduled for the 15-20 October, the Holon Fashion Week takes place once again at the amazing Holon Design Museum, a building also very much worth checking out while you’re in the ‘hood.
This year’s fashion extravaganza is based on the merging world of fashion and urbanism. Events kick off on the 15th October with some unique shops in the museum square, plus the premiere of the fashion documentary movie Versailles 73 (in English).
The fashion week closes with the closing of visionary designer Yohji Yamamoto’s exhibition, which has been running in the museum since July.
Some of the big-name international designers expected to attend include: Carla Sozzani, Patricia Mears, Rafael de Cardena, Jean Luc Colonna d’Istria, and Ippolito Pestellini Laparelli.
Tickets cost 190 shekels per day, or 290 for a two-day ticket. Call 03-5021551 for more details.
