It’s not really a surprise to many of us who know all about the delights that Jerusalem has to offer, but the Holy City has just been named as one of the “Top 10 Destinations on the Rise” in a recent survey by the world’s biggest travel website, TripAdvisor.
The survey lists Jerusalem as FOURTH in the list of the world’s most popular up-and-coming places to visit, a result that is bolstered by the recent record-breaking tourism numbers to Israel so far in 2014.
The popular travel website says:
Plan on seeing the major sights, but also leave plenty of time to walk through the streets and simply immerse yourself in the daily life of such an ancient and revered place.
There are some amazing things to see and do in Jerusalem, including walking through the magical lanes and alleyways of the Old City, but for those of you wanting a quick introduction to what the Holy City is all about, read this.
