The Sweater Festival in Tel Aviv: music for a good cause

Sweater FestivalThe now annual Sweater Festival in Tel Aviv’s Levontin 7 club returns once again this month!

In what has become one of Tel Aviv’s more quirkier music festivals, the Sweater Festival is an attempt to highlight the state of Tel Aviv’s homeless, the number of which is growing every year (in 2011 some 45 people throughout Israel died while living rough).

Some of the artists contributing their time and talent to this great cause include Amir Lev, Yehuda Keisar, Yael Dekelbaum, Hemi Rodner and Ze’ev Tene.

The action takes place on Friday 10 January and kicks off at noon and runs til 17:00.

Entrance fee is a sweater, blanket, shoes, or any other warm clothing you can bring along!
