Excellent news for the UK contingent of you – low-cost carriers easyJet have announced that they will be launching cheap flights from Gatwick Airport to Israel in April 2014!
easyJet are already a popular choice when flying to and from the UK, with some 11 flights a week from Luton Airport to Israel, but this additional route may well be a market breaker, seeing as Gatwick is closer to to London (it definitely suits the iGoogled staff much better!).
They are currently talking of three flights a week from Gatwick to Tel Aviv, which will be a great boon, meaning some 14 flights a week from the UK to Israel via easyJet.
Flights are expected to commence in April 2014, and are expected to cost in the region of £90.
