According to reports, it looks like Leonardo DiCaprio has landed the role of a falafel street vendor in an upcoming Hollywood version of the Lebanese movie “Falafel”. Not content with stealing the heart of Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli, it looks like Leo is about to sink his teeth into another Israeli legend. Frying begins in October 2009.
OK, OK, so Leo probably won’t ever be taking on the role of a greasy, sweaty falafel street vendor (unless Bar puts her foot down), but surely Hollywood is going to be knocking on falafel’s door soon? Throw in some beautiful Israelis (I’m sure Leo knows an Israeli supermodel or two…), a dodgy plot, some special effects, and you’ve got a surefire winner.
