Bike fans rejoice! After taking over Jerusalem in October, Gran Fondo is coming to the lowest point on earth – it’s time for Gran Fondo Dead Sea!
Just two months after hitting the Holy City, Gran Fondo comes to the Dead Sea for a 155 km race (including a 75 km timed heat) on December 13, 2013.
While enjoying nature at its best, the hundreds of cyclists expected to take part will be riding in one of the most unique races in the world! And even though the Dead Sea is one of the hottest points on the planet (as well as being the lowest), December is usually very mild and should be more than comfortable for the long ride.
Unlike the Jerusalem Gran Fondo, this one is a little more serious, and there is no family course to enjoy. Just in case you were wondering…
