Autumn time in the Old City of Jerusalem means the return of the Jerusalem Knights Festival!
This now annual festival is held in the Old City and this medieval style festival features a variety of knights, jesters, musicians, princesses, dragons and other medieval characters, all ready to entertain you (and maybe scare the bejesus out of you!) in the alleyways of the Christian Quarter…
Each year the festival takes on a medieval theme and this year it’s a cracker: Knights and Dragons!
The festival takes place over four evenings: October 18, October 25, November 1, and November 8. The action starts early evening and continues into the wee hours. Best of all, the festival is FREE to enjoy and suitable for all the family!
As you walk into the Old City through the Jaffa Gate, prepare to be wowed by ancient dances, battles between Knights and Dragons, and other fun shows. This year, the Festival is also partnering up with leading artists from the Venice Festival – so expect some seriously entertaining medieval nights in Jerusalem this autumn!
Get on thy trusted steed and be gone to Jerusalem!
Here’s a taste of what to expect…
