A sukka in SukkotThe holiday of Sukkot lasts a week; the day of Sukkot is actually a national holiday, while the rest of the 7 days are a semi-holiday where official things like government offices and the post offices operate reduced opening hours. Watch out for some great family events during this week – and of course, those little huts made of sheets that are everywhere (and are called “sukkas”)!
