		<description>Great story so far, am off to Tel Aviv on biz for first time in a couple of days and looking on google for info found your blog.
Certainly a perspective on the place you don&#039;t find in the tourist web sites.
Guess will have to catch up on future epsisodes when I get back to SA in a few weeks, going to visit folks in Cornwall after Tel Aviv for a week or so. Cheers.</description>

It was (theoretically) a dry ship, so we used to go a little crazy on our monthly shore leaves.  The White House bar on Hayarkon was very conveniently placed within staggering distance of our room at the Astor.  Happy days...</description>
