This week we head off down the coast to the beach at Palmachim. About 10km south of Tel Aviv, this is one of the best beaches in Israel, but not quite as amazing as the best beach in Israel…
We love the light and clouds in this one, taken by @sk, a guy from Rehovot, just down the road from Palmachim. He’s got some other great beach shots in his collection.

This week we head off to Jerusalem’s Machane Yehuda market, one of Israel’s best markets, and a must-see on any trip to Jerusalem. There is a great vibe to this pic – even though it’s in black and white – of people enjoying the last couple of hours before Shabbat kicks in.

Another glorious shot of the Tel Aviv shoreline, this has to be one of the most photographed views in Israel. I doubt there’s anyone who sees this view for the first time, down at the Yafo end of Tel Aviv, and doesn’t reach for their camera…
The pic was taken by vladsinayuk, a guy from New York who seems to travel around a fair bit. I just love the winter feel to this pic, and those amazing waves.
