Born and raised in Canada, Lisa Goldman lived in New York City for 10 years before moving to Tel Aviv – which is really a lot like New York, but smaller. And with warmer weather. And nicer people. And better coffee. Lisa is the author of City Guide Tel Aviv, the first sophisticated insider's guide (in English) about her favorite city. She works as a freelance journalist, covering everything from the Second Lebanon War to Palestinian hip-hop music. Her articles have been published in a wide variety of Israeli and international publications and she is a frequent guest on radio and television current affairs programs around the world. When she has some spare time, she updates her blog (lisagoldman.net) with yet another chapter of the ongoing series she likes to call "As The Middle East Turns." For better or worse, there is no lack of new material.
