WOW! If you were looking for THE concert ticket of 2017, this could well be it – Radiohead in Tel Aviv this coming summer!
The concert is scheduled for July 19, at Tel Aviv’s HaYarkon Park, with tickets set at between 429-479 shekels. And for what is probably one of the first ever “superstar” concerts in Israel, there will be NO VIP section or seated area. Tickets are available from 8 February – call *9066 for details.
Radiohead are one of the biggest bands in the world, with some 30 million albums sold, and with an album (OK Computer) regarded by many critics as one of the best of all time.
Local Radiohead fans will be quick to point out that their first ever gig on foreign soil was in Israel (they performed here in ’93, as well as in ’95 as the opening act for the monster REM concert, and in 2000 at Caesarea; and guitar maestro Jonny Greenwood is married to an Israeli artist, Sharona Katan – those Israelis get everywhere!)! This latest tour will be promoting their latest studio album, A Moon Shaped Pool.
In the meantime, here’s a slice of Thom and the boys in action (love this song to bits!)…
