Got a sweet tooth? Satisfy your cravings and pay a visit to Cookeez, an amazing place for ice cream and cookies in the heart of Tel Aviv!
Let’s face it, there is nothing better than strolling along the streets of Tel Aviv on a hot summer’s day and getting a take-away cup of cookies and ice cream. The best part is, you don’t have to decide for one or the other – just get a typical Cookeez sandwich, consisting of two cookies of your choice and a ball of ice cream in the middle!
The cookies are freshly homemade every day, and the flavors range from peanut butter, white chocolate macadamia nut, tricolad to Oreo chunks, and many more. The ice-cream is based on original Italian gelato, and you will find whatever your heart desires: banana fudge, crème brulée, mascarpone and berries, and white chocolate chip are only some of the cool temptations.
Cookeez was founded in 2014 by Ayal Mor, Yoav Shmuelevitz and Gil Gurevitz. The three friends from high school wanted to bring a new, fresh taste to classic cookies and ice cream: so why not combine them? Their success has proved them right; Cookeez is always packed with loads of people who share a passion for sweets.
If you are a vegan, don’t worry: you will find a range of vegan products that are just as good as the non-vegan ones – promise!
One cookies and ice-cream sandwich costs 18 shekels (2016 prices), but you can also get them separately: a single cookie is 5 shekels, and one small ice cream scoop will cost you 14 shekels.
Cookeez currently has two branches – one is at 116 Dizengoff Street, the other at 114 Allenby Street.
Opening hours: Mon-Wed 11am – 2 am, Thu 11 am – 3 am, Fri 10 am – 3 am, Sat-Sun 11 am – 2 am
