IsraelisThe population of Israel is now just over 8 million people!

    HI,
Can you please tell me how close are we to have the majority of the Jewish People back Home In Israel?

Knowing this makes a huge difference concerning laws like Shmeta–The Sabbath for the Land. Once the majority of Jews are back Home in Israel, at that point the Sabbath for the land-Shmeta will no longer be a rabbinic ordinance but will rather change to a Torah commandment.

The next Shmita year begins one year from this coming Rosh Hashanah.

    Thank you,
    Benzion Eliyahu Lehrer
