Vanessa Mae LIVE in Israel!

The gorgeous and very talented Vanessa Mae hit the Holy Land yesterday and gave a one-off performance at the Caesarea Amphitheater. By all accounts the show was great!

There may have been a bit of a hiccup at the start of the evening, which led to a delayed start due to “technical difficulties”, but our little bird at the gig told us that Vanessa was completely charming and quickly won over any disgruntled fans.

Some might have expected a little longer than the 90 minutes she performed, but the music apparently enchanted most of the audience into submission…

A quick shout out to the rude geezer who decided that as Vanessa was performing her last number and people had started to leave, he could stick his camera in her face and start filming. Much like they do at the kindergartens over here (trust me on that one). Nice job mate.

Anyway, great show Vanessa, come back soon!

And here’s a little taster of what you got last night, great close up at the end!

Actually, quite a few people gathered around and shoved their camera phones in the air as she sat on the edge of the stage and played her encore, but she gracefully got up and moved to a platform set back in the middle of the stage. That’s when the rude geezer stood right in front of the stage in the center and started filming. A security guy made him move, but it was still disturbing to watch. Far more maddening were the lines of people who started streaming out during the middle of her last song before the encore. What is wrong with these people??
